Why All-Natural Wooden Toys Are Better and Worth the Switch

Three reasons

1. For the babies:

1.   As we all know, plastic is not a naturally occurring substance in nature. Their formation is all due to the progress of the human chemical industry, through the combination of chemical substances to form this huge yield of substances. Even if the current industry cannot reach a very high level, the harm of chemical substances to the human body should not be underestimated. 97 percent of toys on the market are made of plastic, and no matter how safe plastic is said to be, they are still unnatural and non-biodegradable mixtures of chemicals. Plastic toys are produced using 'acceptable amounts' of toxins in the manufacturing process. It is better to buy wooden toys for babies as their systems are overloaded with toxins faster than adults. When their hands are wet, their skin also absorbs toxins from plastic toys. Switching to natural or unpainted wooden toys or water-based dyes on wooden toys is best for babies and toddlers.
2. According to the QCI report, as many as 30% of plastic toys fail to meet safety standards for allowable levels of phthalates, heavy metals, etc., and 80% of plastic toys fail in terms of mechanical and physical safety performance. I guess Indian toy standards are similar to the US. Even the largest U.S. toy manufacturers, as described below, have been found to use harsh conditions and produce toy products that contain harsh chemicals such as lead. 3. Plastic toys often tell the baby that "you press this button, and I will light up/scream". Fixed thinking is not helpful for the baby's preschool education. Wooden toys can give babies an open thinking mode, "I only have 10 building blocks, but today it can be a car, and tomorrow it can even be a submarine!" Whatever you think of, you can be anything, the sky is unlimited! For example, when you buy a standard unit of wooden baby building blocks for a 1-year-old, your child gets 10 years of playtime out of them.
   My older kids still love building and creating with these blocks. It's economical for your wallet and sustainable for the environment. This "open age" toy will enrich your child for years to come as there are 1001 ways to create without getting bored.  It is awesome to know that your toy investment can last years in your home.

2. For the environment

1. Plastic never degrades! Plastic toys are filling up landfills fast and will sit and pollute the planet, never to biodegrade or break down. Once new plastic is produced, it stays with us forever, leaching chemicals into the soil in landfills. Wooden toys are biodegradable and have minimal to no plastic parts, making them a more sustainable alternative. Switching to wooden toys is an easy sustainable swap your family can use to help the planet! Plus, wooden toys tend to be more "heirloom quality" than "landfill quality." You might spend a little more for some wooden toys, but someday your grandkids will experience the same fun your kids had. Most wooden toy packaging is cardboard based with limited plastic content and often doubles as storage for the toy. This helps eliminate the need to buy another plastic toy box for storage.
2. "Everything has a price, and someone always pays that price."
   It's never a win-win when the price is too good to be true. If the product is "cheaper" or "higher value" then that price is passed on to the toy company or toy manufacturer and ultimately to the environment, product integrity, and/or materials, or as follows, factory workers. These factory workers are paying the difference!

3. For the parents

1. Wooden toys can make parents more worry-free. The high-frequency noise and burr-like edges of plastic toys can irritate babies, causing them to become manic and cry. Wooden toys are more gentle and natural and will become smoother after being treated with Lockwood, caring for the baby's tiny hands.
2. Wooden toys can better allow parents to accompany their children through their childhood. In the process of growing up, companionship is very important, and enjoy a happy time together. Studies have shown that when parents spend more time with their children, the children's character is more complete. loving them is a habit
